The movie is about how Pooja (Nazriya) tries to win Giri's (Nivin Pauly) heart after the love at first sight moment.
Script & Direction - First of all, the movie is claimed to be or had the looks of a typical love story. So I went with the mindset of "Thattathin Marayathu" to sit through a candyfloss experience. Now I have to accept that it was indeed a predictable candyfloss expierence. But I enjoyed this experience more than "Thattathin Marayathu". The main reason is the presentation by the debutante Jude Anthany Joseph. I am not claiming it is extremely fresh and novel experience. But it was engaging mainly due to the feel good factor supported by the humour element. Also the film didn't come with huge expectations. Now there are moments where Jude along with his writer, Midhun Manuel Thomas (co written by Jude) which adds to the feel good factor. The irresponsible happy go lucky character of Pooja keeps this character driven movie engaging with her antics at most portions. The director further supported the film with beautiful locations of Kottayam/
But this is where the negatives commence because those who really look for serious movies with stuff may not be catered well. Also the film clearly runs out of steam towards the end and we seriously wish at a point where Jude would either surprise us or finish off the work as soon as possible. Too much sub-plots n attempts for twists made the journey towards the end dragging. Also those who follows usual rom-com stuff from Tamil/Hindi may not be exactly excited with the experience of all those seen before movie references.
Cast & Performance - Nazriya was average and this is the main issue of this film. Her character is the life of the movie and if she doesn't deliver justice to her character, it affects the movie. She looked extremely artificial with her body language during the first half to display the girlish charm. But in second half, either I compromised or she started to look tad better. But I have to accept that her narration was really good and compensated her performance to a huge extend. Nivin Pauly really didn't have much to do and his character reminded me of Prithviraj from Aiyya. Renji Panicker was surprisingly decent in his debut lengthy performance. Aju Varghese really didn't have much to do but repeat his trademark style. Can't understand why Lal Jose was chosen to do this role while Vineeth Sreenivasan was quite good in his cameo. The rest of the cast comprises of Shobha Mohan,Vijayarag
Songs & Background Score - "Mounam..." is my favourite song out of the lot which is a sweet melody. "Kaatumooliyo..
Technical Expertise - Vinodh Illampilly's work as a cinematographer
Bottomline - Just a Feel Good Romantic Movie....Go with Normal/
Ratings - 6/10

I’m From Tamil Nadu, I like Malayalam Movies very much, in contrast I heard many Malayalam people like VIJAY, AJITH, SURYA, ALLU ARJUN. Tollywood is completely opposite to molly wood, whereas kolly wood is mixture of both the tolly wood and molly wood. Movies Made by Malayalam Industries are heart warming and life oriented, where you can at least learn something for your Life. I wish People from Malayalam film industry release their movies in Tamil with subtitles so that it will reach wider audience. Because artistic work should reach more people in the world. I used to read all the malayalam cinema news From this site, check it , would be useful.
